"Sequel II System" has been introduced to RIKEN Yokohama. It has been installed next to Sequel. The read lengths is about eight times longer than original system!

PacBio Sequel training @Yokohama RIKEN

PacBio Sequel training was held for five days. The schedule of training included from sample preparation untill sequencing. During the training, there was also a bioinformatics seminar by PacBio Asia. I hope the training was fruitful for everyone. Attendees were from a variety of research fields in symbiology so it was also a great opportunity to get to know each other.

"Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope Zeiss LSM880 with Airyscan FAST-mode" has been introduced to RIKEN YokohamaCSRS Microscopy Room by Mass Spectrometry and Microscopy Unit.
The unit leader is Dr. Kiminori Toyooka.
