RIKEN Yokohama Institute and Yokohama City University, Tsurumi Campus will hold our annual joint open house on Saturday, September 29.

Every year, we open our facilities to the general public to communicate our research activities and to deepen awareness of cutting-edge life sciences research.

Our open house features lectures and seminars, facility tours and hands-on events aimed at a general audience. If you're a science buff, we're definitely the place for you! If you're looking for something interesting to do or for some edutainment for the kids, then why not come and check us out?

Yokohama Institute opened in 2000 and is a major facility for life sciences research in Japan. The institute does both basic and applied research. Our goal is to serve the public with our research results, cultivate researchers and develop mutually beneficial alliances in the community.
