What is Mass Spectrometry?

Demonstration of ionization technique (MALDI) with which Dr. Koichi Tanaka won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2002. When a laser is fired on a sample spot, ionization occurs. The tour will show how the qualitative information is obtained by such a process.
